Communicable Diseases for Manual Therapists

Cultural Competency for Massage Therapists

The expanding assessment practices course is designed to deepen the understanding of assessment practices to assist in developing a treatment plan for consecutive sessions with your clients. Students will learn terminology and assessment protocols to assist in the creation/development of a treatment plan for general full body session, focused upper body session, and a focused lower body session. Reiki Immersion Workshop - Level 1 & Level 2

The Reiki Immersion Workshop is a 2 day event that encompasses both Level 1 and Level 2 Reiki courses into one weekend. The course starts with the Level 1 training to guide the student through their first attunement and the 12 traditional reiki hand placements, ending the day with a social dinner for both body and mind. On the second day, students receive their second attunement to level 2 and end the day with a guided meditation and reiki share. Massage Therapist taking the immersion workshop receive a total of 12 CE participating.

Usui Reiki Level 1

Reiki is a subtle form of energy healing that connects the body, mind and spirit. Through the connection of body, mind and spirit one can experience physical release from pain and/or emotional release tied to traumatic experiences. Stress and injuries in the body are tied into our emotions and this form of energy healing is performed to assist the body to balance the flow of energy, which allows the body to heal. During a Reiki 1 class, students will learn the history of Reiki, information about the chakras, become attuned to this awesome healing art as a Reiki Level 1 practitioner, learn the 12 traditional hand positions used in Usui Reiki, and how to perform a Reiki session on yourself and others! Massage Therapists can earn 7 CE taking this course.
Usui Reiki Level 2

The Reiki Level 2 attunement in Traditional Usui Reiki advances the knowledge of the level 1 Reiki practitioner. After becoming attuned to level 2, the course will teach the use of three symbols that help augment the application of Reiki energy on the physical and energetic body. The course dives deeper into energetic anatomy as it relates to the Chakra system and works to balance flow of energy through the body. You will become Attuned to 3 of the 5 Traditional Usui Reiki Symbols. Learn how to use the symbols in healing sessions. Learn more information about the seven chakra energy centers and how to balance the flow of energy through the body. Massage Therapists can earn 5 CE taking this course.
