About This Course

The Myokinesio Therapy of the Posterior Torso course is designed to educate and prepare Massage Therapists of common Injuries, Pathology's, Indications, Contraindications, Assessment (to include Range of Motion and Palpation), Postural Imbalances, Trigger Points of the Posterior Torso, Myofascial Techniques, Neuromuscular Techniques, Muscle Energy and Activation Techniques, Muscle Firing Patterns, and Signs and Symptoms of Inflammation. With integration of these techniques and learning resources the Therapist will be able to assess and address more Therapeutically the Posterior Torso Region.

  • Comfortable, loose-fitting clothing (for hands-on demonstration and practice)

  • 2 sheets & a blanket (for draping and covering the treatment table)

  • A massage table, if you have one

  • Study tools of your choice (highlighters, sticky notes, or whatever helps you take notes and retain material)
