Terms of Service

Manual Therapy Alliance, LLC — Effective Date: July 13, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Manual Therapy Alliance platform, including all courses, content, and services offered through our website. By creating an account or enrolling in a course, you agree to these Terms in full. Please read them carefully before registering.

Manual Therapy Alliance, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of West Virginia, United States.

1. Eligibility

To register for and access courses on this platform, you must meet all of the following criteria:

  • You are at least 18 years of age.
  • You are a licensed healthcare or manual therapy professional (including but not limited to physical therapists, occupational therapists, chiropractors, massage therapists, athletic trainers, and related disciplines), or you are a currently enrolled student in an accredited program leading to such licensure.
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

By registering, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements. We reserve the right to verify eligibility and to suspend or terminate access if eligibility cannot be confirmed.

2. Registration & Payment

To enroll in a course, you must provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

All course fees are displayed at the time of enrollment and are charged in U.S. dollars. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By submitting payment, you authorize us to charge the applicable fee to your provided payment method.

Registrations are personal and non-transferable. You may not transfer your enrollment to another individual without our prior written approval. Transfer requests are considered on a case-by-case basis and must be submitted by email to information@manualtherapyalliance.com before the course begins.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

We understand that plans change. Our refund schedule is as follows:

  • 30 or more days before the session start date — Full refund less a $35 administrative fee.
  • 8–29 days before the session start date50% refund of the amount paid.
  • 7 days or fewer before the session start date — No refund. You may request a transfer to a future session (see Section 4).
  • Online (self-paced) courses — Due to immediate access to course materials, all sales are final. Please contact us before purchasing if you have questions.
  • No-shows — Registrants who do not attend and do not contact us prior to the session forfeit their registration fee.

All refund requests must be submitted in writing to information@manualtherapyalliance.com. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

4. Session Transfers

You may request to transfer your registration to a different session of the same course, subject to availability, for a $25 transfer fee. Transfer requests must be submitted at least 7 days before your original session date. Transfers are not available after the session has begun.

5. Course Access

Upon successful enrollment and payment, you will be granted access to the course content through our student portal. Access is limited to you personally and may not be shared, sublicensed, or transferred.

We reserve the right to update, modify, or remove course content at any time. Where material changes occur, we will make reasonable efforts to notify enrolled students. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability — scheduled maintenance or circumstances beyond our control may temporarily affect access.

You agree not to record, reproduce, redistribute, or share any course content — including videos, materials, handouts, and assessments — without our express written permission.

6. Certificates of Completion

Upon satisfying all course requirements — including lesson completion, assessments, and any other criteria specified for that course — you will receive a certificate of completion indicating the course name and continuing education hours awarded.

It is your responsibility to verify that a given course meets the continuing education requirements of your licensing board or jurisdiction before enrolling. We make no guarantee that our courses will be accepted by any particular licensing authority.

7. Health & Safety (In-Person Sessions)

Hands-on manual therapy training involves physical contact between participants. By registering for an in-person session, you confirm that you are in good physical health and able to participate safely. You agree to disclose any conditions that may affect your or others' safety to the instructor prior to participation.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this platform — including course videos, written materials, slides, assessments, graphics, and branding — is the property of Manual Therapy Alliance, LLC or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. Your enrollment grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access course content solely for your own professional development. No other use is permitted without our prior written consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Manual Therapy Alliance, LLC and its members, officers, instructors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — this platform or its content. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific course giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in our courses constitutes medical, clinical, or legal advice. You are solely responsible for applying course content within the scope of your professional training, licensure, and applicable law.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of West Virginia, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Before initiating any legal action, you agree to contact us at information@manualtherapyalliance.com and allow at least 30 days for us to attempt to resolve the matter in good faith.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify registered users by email. Your continued use of the platform following any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
