About This Course

This course is specially designed to equip Massage Therapists with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively address common injuries, pathologies, indications, contraindications, assessments (including Range of Motion and Palpation), postural imbalances, trigger points of the Head and Neck, myofascial techniques, neuromuscular techniques, muscle energy and activation techniques, muscle firing patterns, and signs and symptoms of inflammation. By integrating these techniques and learning resources, therapists will gain the ability to assess and treat the Head and Neck Region in a more therapeutic manner.   • A device for your written exam (computer, tablet, or mobile device. Exams are completed through our student portal)

  • Comfortable, loose-fitting clothing (for hands-on demonstration and practice)

  • 2 sheets & a blanket (for draping and covering the treatment table)

  • A massage table, if you have one

  • Study tools of your choice (highlighters, sticky notes, or whatever helps you take notes and retain material)
